Stamford (WTNH) – Stamford police are investigating how the body of a 2-year-old disappeared from its grave and was discovered this past weekend in New Jersey.

Police talked about the case at an afternoon news conference. According to News Channel 8′s Annie Rourke, fisherman in New Jersey found the body of the young girl in a bag on Sunday.

A medical examiner figured out who the child was and alerted Stamford authorities.

Police spokesman Lt. Sean Cooney said the girl was born in 2005 and buried in 2007. Police say there is no evidence of tampering with the grave.

Police do not think the family was involved.

Authorities will not release the name of the girl. We’re told the child’s family no longer lives in Stamford.”

I investigated a few rumors about a man who ‘didn’t look right’ in the area about the same time.  Two people reported a man who’s fingers were too long and swore his ears ended in a point.  He was covered in ‘filth’ (dirt?).  He had also been carrying a bag at the time, similar to the one found at the scene in NJ.  Did this thing tunnel into the grave from below?

House in Arkam http://the-vigil.org/blog/2009/04/18/house-in-arkam/ http://the-vigil.org/blog/2009/04/18/house-in-arkam/#comments Sat, 18 Apr 2009 08:19:45 +0000 Midnight http://the-vigil.org/blog/?p=11 Just saw a house collapsed in Arkham, MA.  From the looks of it, all of the debris fell inward, as if it was pulled onto itself.  Mages?

EDIT: Just found an excerpt from the Arkham Advertiser:

“(Arkham, MA) Local authorities have declared Thursday’s housing collapse on E. Main St. a work of negligence after 48 hours investigation.  “Damage to the internal structure was to blame,” explains fire chief Thomas Roach.  “A load-bearing wall shows signs of fracturing and mold.”

This doesn’t explain how the furnace landed on top of the fridge (see the pic I found of the scene).
